Lori Faison founded Bolt House Textiles in 2010 when she noticed a gap between the high-end services and goods offered through Interior Designers and the more mass produced items offered in mainstream home catalogs. The concept began with the idea of using natural linens and linen cotton blends and designing various collections of whimsical patterns to be individually applied to the linen. The idea continued to grow by adding the ability to individually customize, through choice of ground fabric, pattern and color. Faison envisioned Bolt House Textiles becoming a source for custom created fabrics, made to order and designed for our clients, by our clients. This not only added the element of hands on design to the retail consumer, but enables the interior design trade the flexibility of further customizing their projects through the custom pattern, fabric and color application. Each design is printed digitally in a single color process, using a natural, alginate based dye, and printed on a per order basis. Bolt House Textiles also offers the option of fabricating our clients’ custom yardage in to various goods; such as, pillows, lamp shades and lighting fixtures, offered through the web site.
